2004-326J Stunning 10K Gold & Enamel Antique Brooch This is an item that I've been holding back on. It's
unmarked but I guarantee it's gold content. I had it tested at my
jewelers, master jeweler Walt Tofel. It measures 1 1/2" long
and about 1" wide. The frame and pin stem are gold. The centerpiece
is the most gorgeous floral enameled design and in excellent condition.
This is a stunning find that doesn't come along too often. This is
a wonderful Lois Moon estate piece that has never been offered publicly
before. You won't be disappointed.

2004-70 Beautiful Genuine Pearls Art Nouveau Brooch I just bought a nice collection of costume jewelry that belonged to a woman who is now in her late 80's. She's moved out of her big home into a retirement community and is drastically downsizing. Lucky me! She had some really wonderful, quality costume jewelry, and this is one of those
pieces. I know that these pearls are real, but I don't know if they're cultured or
natural. When did they first start culturing pearls anyway?) They're on the larger side. The pearls are whole pearls, and the brooch has a chased Art Nouveau design in the center that looks like a forget-me-not flower. The pin stem is longer than the brooch, a sign of a true Victorian piece. And of course it has a "C" clasp. It measures just over 1" long. |

2004-286J Hand Carved Obsidian & Opal Turtle I'm selling this for my boss, master jeweler an jewelry store owner, Walt Tofel. The provenance that we know of is; that this is a minimum of 40 years old, but most likely closer to 60 years old. Objects d'Art such as this were popular at the end of WWII. This is a hand carved obsidian turtle. The turtle's back is entirely inlaid with high quality opals in red, blue, green and even a dark almost black color. The turtle's eyes are also high quality opals with brilliant fire. This turtle measures about 6" long and about 3.5" wide. It's most likely Asian, probably Chinese. Turtles were very popular in Chinese astrology. This lovely piece is in superb condition and can be viewed in person at: Tofel Jeweler's 412 Main St Bennington Vermont 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday 9:00-1:00 Saturdays Obsidian is volcanic, amorphous, siliceous glassy rock. It comes in black gray brown or green. This piece is black. Obsidian was named after a Roman (Obisius) and was used in antiquity because of it's sharp edges and high luster. Shipping will be $5.50 plus insurance.
This piece has to be seen to be appreciated. It's one of a kind and
perfect for the advanced collector. Please don't hesitate to email me
with any questions you may have about this turtle. |

2004-77J Victorian 8K Gold WIDE Wedding Band Leaf Design If you've been looking for a wide antique gold wedding band, you know that finding them is next to impossible. This one is a size 8 and measures 3/8" wide. It has a grape leaf pattern in it and a place to engrave initials or a date. I haven't cleaned it up, it has a wonderful patina on it. I would not recommend sizing this ring, so please take that into consideration when bidding. Also wide rings tend to fit tighter, so if you normally wear an 8 this may feel a little snug. I think that this ring is originally from Europe, most likely England.

2004-74J Vintage Diamond Engagement Ring 14K c.1959 This is a vintage engagement ring c.1959. It's exactly like my mom's and that's when she got hers. It looks to be the same size too, approximately 20 points. This is just a guess on my part based on the fact that I know how big mom's is and this looks just like it. It could be a little bigger or a little smaller. The ring is a size 7 1/2 and is in great condition. It's set in a white gold "square" to give it the appearance of of being larger. The band is yellow gold. This ring guaranteed to be a diamond, but I can't guarantee the size, but it's real close |

2004-137J Rare Geisha Girl Carved Shell Cameo Ring I bought this ring several years ago at an antiques show in Upstate New York. I was intrigued by it because the cameo herself looks like a Japanese Geisha to me. The cameo measures 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. I had my jeweler test it and it's not gold, but probably gold filled. The ring is about a size 5. I've never seen anything like this and think that even the most advanced cameo collector would be thrilled to own it.

2004-86J Vintage White Gold Cameo w/Diamond Sapphires What a wonderful find this was! It's a blue glass pre-1940 intaglio cameo. It's signed 10KR. The "R" is for the maker. I brought it to my jeweler and the diamond is genuine, he tested it, and he felt that the sapphires were genuine as well. This is a gorgeous pieces measuring about 1 1/2" long. It's in excellent condition, and cameos are so hot right now! It's also nice that it's set in white gold, it's such a compliment with the diamond and sapphires. |
